Zhejiang Langchao Hosts the 2025 National Woodworking Machinery and Tool Standardization Annual Conference, Jointly Planning High-Quality Development of the Industry

In early winter, by the Qiantang River estuary, a grand gathering arrived as scheduled. From November 27 to 28, 2025, the 2025 Annual Meeting and Standard Review Meeting, hosted by the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Woodworking Machinery and Tools and undertaken by Zhejiang Langchao Precision Machinery Co., Ltd., was successfully held at the Hangzhou Tianyuan Building. Over a hundred leaders and experts from industry regulatory departments, research institutes, universities, and backbone enterprises gathered together. Using standards as a bridge, they discussed a new blueprint for the high-quality development of the industry.

A Glorious Moment, Co-writing a New Chapter for Industry Development

   The agenda of this conference was紧凑 and substantial. After the opening ceremony, the first half of the morning session on November 27 was chaired by Xia Haipan, Chairman of Zhejiang Langchao Precision Machinery Co., Ltd. Leaders including Zheng Mingzhi, former Vice Chairman of the Zhejiang Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce, and Zhang Lin, Deputy Secretary-General of the Hangzhou Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, delivered speeches successively. They affirmed the importance of standardization work in the woodworking machinery and tool industry and expressed hopes for innovation-driven development guided by standards. Wang Heping, Chairman of the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Woodworking Machinery and Tools, presented the annual work report, systematically reviewing the fruitful achievements of the past year, including the release of 20 national standards and the initiation of 10 standard projects. He also clarified future directions for improving the standard system and promoting international coordination.

   The second half of the morning session on the 27th was chaired by Cheng Deming, Vice Chairman of the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Woodworking Machinery and Tools. Attendees conducted preliminary discussions on the planning of the industry's standard system construction, laying the foundation for subsequent in-depth discussions. The award ceremony was a highlight. Langchao Precision Machinery, along with Nanxing Equipment and Deli Electromechanical, were honored as "Standard Drafting Units." Company Chairman Xia Haipan and several other industry elites were recognized as "Standard Drafting Individuals." Simultaneously, the conference added 7 new observer units, injecting fresh blood into the industry's standardization construction. As a Vice Chairman unit of the Technical Committee, Langchao deeply participates in the formulation of industry standards, practicing the development philosophy of "first-class enterprises make standards" with concrete actions.

   Subsequently, Secretary-General Wu Shangxin presented the annual work report of the Secretariat. She detailed the Secretariat's annual work in areas such as standard revision and advancement, industry research and visits, and international exchanges and cooperation. She also proposed improvement ideas and下一步 plans addressing current difficulties and issues in standardization work.

   Deputy Secretary-General Cheng Mianlong conducted a review of industry standard project applications. He elaborated on the background, industry needs, technical key points, and expected benefits of the revision of multiple standards, including "Woodworking Planer Knives."

Integrating Knowledge and Action, Witnessing the Strength of Intelligent Manufacturing

  On the afternoon of November 27, attendees先后 visited Sheng'ao Furniture Group's Qiantang District Intelligent Manufacturing Center and Zhejiang Langchao's Hangzhou Tool Intelligent Manufacturing Base, experiencing the charm of intelligent manufacturing firsthand. At Langchao's Intelligent Manufacturing Base, guests观摩了 advanced intelligent German Waldrich five-axis grinding machines and other core equipment at close range. They gained a detailed understanding of achievements in high-end tool R&D and patent transformation. As a "National Specialized, Refined, Distinctive, and Innovative Little Giant Enterprise," Langchao not only holds over 200 patents but has also successfully acquired the American company AW, a decades-old enterprise, building a comprehensive solution system covering metal and non-metal processing. Its development practice of "Standards Leading, Intelligent Manufacturing Empowering" was highly recognized by the guests.

Gathering Strength, Advancing Together, Co-initiating Standards

  During the two-day conference, attendees engaged in in-depth exchanges on core topics such as the review of industry standard project applications, standard promotion and implementation, and discussions on national standard research projects. This provided new directions and injected new momentum into the construction of industry standardization. As an enterprise with 28 years of experience in the tool field, Langchao has always regarded standardization construction as the core of its development. From leading the compilation of the national key publication "Building Material Cutting Tools" during the "13th Five-Year Plan" period to deeply participating in the formulation of multiple national industry standards, it has consistently led product innovation and industrial upgrading with high standards.
