TIDEWAY was established in 1996, with the enterprise located on a modern intelligent manufacturing base covering 40,000 square meters, achieving a CNC rate of 96%. It has cumulatively developed over 260,000 specifications of cutting tools, relying on robust intelligent manufacturing capabilities and high-quality products to provide efficient cutting solutions for domestic and international customers. It is one of China's largest manufacturers of woodworking saw blades, metal saw blades, and steel plate drilling tools.

After more than two decades of dedicated cultivation, it has grown into a well-known brand in the industry. Its products are sold globally, earning recognition and trust from customers in 86 countries worldwide. Development History

2025

TIDEWAY fully acquired A&W Tool, a U.S.-based company with 30 years of experience in metal tool production, to expand its presence in the North American market and deploy a localized team to serve clients in the region. In the same year, it was honored with the title of 'National Specialized, Refined, Distinctive, and Innovative' (Little Giant) enterprise in China.

2024

TIDEWAY has been approved as one of the first enterprises to settle in the 'Hangzhou Green Low-Carbon Factory' project, serving as a national model enterprise cultivation base under the 'Golden Seed' plan for patent industrialization.

2023

TIDEWAY honored with provincial-level "Specialized, Refined, Distinctive, and Innovative" title

2022

TIDEWAY was recognized as a "Zhejiang Province Intellectual Property Demonstration Enterprise" and a "National High-Tech Small and Medium-sized Enterprise".

2020

TIDEWAY led the drafting of Zhejiang manufacturing standards, with 2 new product technologies passing provincial-level appraisal and acceptance

2019

TIDEWAY successfully obtained four major management system certifications: 'Quality, Environment, Occupational Health and Safety, and Intellectual Property'

2018

TIDEWAY's breakthrough in 100 patents related to tool manufacturing

2016

TIDEWAY passed the provincial-level high-tech enterprise research and development center certification in Zhejiang Province and the famous brand product certification in Hangzhou City

2014

Brazilian branch company established, setting up overseas sales company in South America.

2013

TIDEWAY was awarded the title of "National High-Tech Enterprise"

2010

TIDEWAY Hangzhou Intelligent Manufacturing Base officially commenced production, and in the same year, it passed the German BG safety technology certification.

2008

TIDEWAY obtains the European TUV product safety certification, with products strictly designed and manufactured in compliance with the European Union EN 847 standard.

2006

Relocated the production base and management team to Hangzhou, Zhejiang, further realizing enterprise optimization and building a more competitive high-end intelligent manufacturing brand.

2005

Introduced high-precision tool automatic detection instruments to provide assurance for the production of high-precision cutting tools.

2004

In 2004, the company introduced Zhejiang Province's first WALTER five-axis CNC tool grinding machine registered for record, and began the development and production of integral alloy cutting tools. In the same year, the company introduced a MAKINO CNC machining center and started the research, development, and manufacturing of high-precision clamp-style woodworking tools.

2003

TIDEWAY passed ISO9001:2000 Quality Management System Certification

1999

The first batch of cutting tools began to be exported overseas.
TIDEWAY officially entered the European and American markets.
